Leadership

John Daigle | President

John created Menemsha over 20 years ago because he felt the industry lacked accountability.  With a degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, he knew there was a better alternative to the adversarial relationships in the construction industry.  John also knew he could improve the success of his projects when he was given the opportunity to provide input early in the development life cycle.  John created a network of industry specialist including surveyors, designers and engineers to work closely with him and his preferred retail clients.  His strategy proved successful as he quickly developed a reputation for consistent high volume retail construction success.    As an early adopter of Integrated Project Delivery he has brought these relationships and innovative thinking closer by creating “In House” divisions that specialize in these services.  John received the Construction Executive of the Year Award in 2005 from the Construction Financial Management Association.

Tom Speroni | Executive Vice President

With a strong construction background Tom has a BSBA degree from the University of Denver where he also studied Real Estate and Construction Management.   Tom moved on to work for national retail and fast food chains in Construction Management.   Tom left his senior role at Starbucks Coffee Company, where he worked from the late 80’s to roll out stores nationally and through Canada, to become a partner at Menemsha.  He brought the client perspective into Menemsha helping the team collectively understand and meet our clients’ needs.   Tom was also an early pioneer of Online Program Management (OPM) creating a site in the mid 90’s for the roll out of a national laser eye care center. He has always pursued and embraced technology to gain an edge in retail development.  Tom regularly speaks at conferences and events about the benefits of collaborative store planning and synergistic retail roll out.
