3DVR Photography

3D VR – a Menemsha service offering 3D VR Photographic Surveys combing 360 degree photographs with Laser2CAD drawings, PDF files or existing CAD/PDF files supplied by the client. “A picture says a 1000 words.” Our 3D VR pictures are object-linked directly to the CAD or PDF file allowing any room or space, interior or exterior, to be viewed within a full high resolution 360 degree axis. Hard to access areas in government or military buildings, hospitals and banks only need to be photographed once during the initial site survey. After object-linking to the CAD or PDF files, they can easily be viewed using the free Apple QuickTime viewer.

The Menemsha 3DVR service plays an essential role for the design and facility teams allowing them to view in detail any restricted areas using 360 degree hi resolution VR photographs.

The 3D VR photographs visually show all areas of a site or property alleviating the need for expensive site walks for two or three members of a facilities or design team. 3D VR photographs are taken, post produced and uploaded to the client usually prior to leaving the site. The Menemsha survey team object- links the 3D VR shots directly to the CAD or PDF plans. Viewing the space as a hi resolution 360 degree photograph is then as simple as going into the space of interest on the plan and clicking on the 3D VR symbol.
