After acquiring a portfolio of 83 standalone Chase bank buildings, with complete drive through facilities, Sansome engaged with Menemsha Architecture. Our task was to spearhead a process of re-positioning these buildings as multi-tenant retail and restaurant establishments. The process entailed, master planning and re-purposing of the parking lot and drive-thru components. Along with a complete redesign to the exterior of the building to convert a bank building to a contemporary and pleasing retail and restaurant shell. Special care and attention were given to the incorporation of existing materials and volumes to encapsulate these new materials in a cost-effective manner. The result: A new retail offering by the developer to its tenants that exudes freshness. The transformation has resulted in accelerated, entitlement, and occupancy of these buildings.
