Tri Counties Bank Downtown Sacramento Branch

Inclusive, open, informal…not words typically associated with banks. But Menemsha is continuing its partnership with Tri Counties Bank to revolutionize the customer journey in its Northern California bank branches. The new branch, on the ground floor of the iconic Renaissance Tower in downtown Sacramento, creates an inviting environment for its patrons—first, by eliminating teller lines in favor of universal bankers, roving tellers, and technology bars. Instead of standing in circuitous queues, customers meet bankers in a soft-seat atmosphere where employees with tablets and smartphones help them conduct business. Transparency is abundant. The exterior is framed by glass on two sides, and former closed-door spaces like conference rooms—even the employee lounge—are surrounded by glass and visible to the public. The branch also carries through the soft touches instituted several years ago via the Menemsha–Tri Counties Heritage Brand initiative. For example, the branch’s Digital Wall displays Northern California landscape views and portraits of bank employees and customers. For a bank deeply rooted in the Northern California communities it serves, it’s only appropriate to make customers feel welcome—like the friends and neighbors they are.
